- ◆ Can Also Be Used as Hemming Tape: This product can also be used on its own, as a conventional hemming tape.1. Set your iron from 284°F to 320°F (140°C to 160°C).2. Turn the pants inside out, adjust the length, and iron the creases.3. Apply the tape to your pants, wrapping around the hem. The tape will shrink, so cut the tape to provide approx. 1.2 inches (3 cm) of extra length.4. Moisten the hem tape and lightly dry it.(Do not use hot water.) 5. Place the tape adhesive side (white side) against the pants fabric so that it goes across the front and back of the pants.6. Set your iron from 284°F to 320°F (140°C to 160°C), and iron slowly from the top, applying your body weight.As a general rule, iron each area for approx. 15 seconds. 7. Iron evenly (oversights or messy ironing may cause peeling). Make sure the iron does not slip (as this may cause wrinkles). 8. Pressing down using a magazine etc. is an effective method of cooling. Turn your pants back, and you're done.*Take care that your iron’s temperature setting and your pressing cloth suit the material
