My
goal was to make a road worthy cable, built from USA made components. I
also wanted a cable you can rely on to perform night after night. It
needed to be affordable, but not cheap. I wanted the best cost to
performance ratio possible while still utilizing premium, high
reliability, made in the US parts - this is what I came up with - a high quality cable assembly, that not only
performs, but is also aesthetically pleasing.
It starts with high quality, Best-Tronics (BTPA) CA-0446 USA made low capacitance cable. Features:
- Made in the USA
- 20 AWG oxygen-free copper conductor
- ~20 pf/ft capacitance; half the capacitance of most other instrument cables
- 95% braided shield; optimum signal protection and durability
- Internal conductive shield layer for minimizing triboelectric noise
- Durable PVC outer jacket with .0280” overall diameter
What does low capacitance mean for you in a guitar cable? It means you retain the most frequency content in your signal compared to other cables - in simplest terms, your guitar will sound exactly like it should, without being robbed of character or dynamics.
The cable is terminated with USA made G&H Bigfoot Plugs, which feature:
- Made in the USA
- Oxygen-free copper core from tip to inner solder connection
- Press fit construction; provides increased reliability
- Nickel housing and plug
Bigfoot plugs feature a solid oxygen-free copper core through the solid filled plug tip which helps transfer your signal reliably and accurately. These are incredibly reliable, clean sound plugs. They can be bent, stepped on, basically abused and will still perform.
Under the shell, the cable ends are reinforced with premium adhesive lined heat shrink over the cable clamp; this provides an extra layer of resiliency and further aids to protect the solder joints. A gold print label finishes it off, providing a premium, and clean look.

Tracking & Notifications
Every order is fully trackable. You will receive a tracking number via email once your order ships. If your order ships in multiple packages, each package will have its own tracking number. If you don’t receive a shipping confirmation immediately, your order is still being processed and will arrive within the estimated timeframe shown at checkout.

Order Changes & Cancellations
