- PH test strips - The set consists of 80 litmus strips together with coloured instructions for recognising the measurement result. For testing, remove the litmus paper from the pack, prepare the solution to be tested (e.g. urine, sweat, water), dip the test part of the strip into the liquid for 1-2 seconds, take out the strip and let it dry - now it starts to discolour slowly, finally compare the result with the scale.
- Test range - Litmus paper has a full test range of 14 levels. Depending on the colour you receive, the result may look like this: a reaction of 1-3 indicates a very acidic substance, 4-6 indicates an acidic substance, 7 to a neutral substance, 8-11 to alkalinity, and a result of 12-14 to a very high alkalinity. The knowledge of these values is e.g. in the garden, as plants prefer a soil with a certain value.
- Uses - Litmus strips can be used in many different situations - they can be used to check the acidity of the soil, the neutrality or alkalinity of water or soap, baby milk and also your own excretions such as sweat, saliva or urine. Application is very simple, and testing the pH level also helps you to properly care for your scalp and hair for a healthy and shiny hairstyle.
- Colour coding - All tests you perform are provided with a multi-coloured result marking, which makes it much easier to decrypt the result. Depending on which colour you see, the result may mean that the substance tested is very acidic, acidic, neutral, alkaline or very basic.
