In addition to this, the newborn set contains four NUK First Choice+ baby bottles made of BPA-free polypropylene with great designs: two bottles with 150ml each and two more with 300ml each. The baby bottles are tested for harmful substances, and are light and resilient. The handy screw ring makes the bottles easy to open and close. The wide neck of the bottle contributes to easy to filling and cleaning.
Every NUK First Choice+ baby bottle with temperature control in the starter set is equipped with an orthodontic NUK teat made of silicone. It features a naturally wide lip rest, which gives babies a familiar feeling when drinking, just like on mom's breast. “Temperature control” is a function that has never existed in this way before. To prevent babies from being fed too hot, the bottles are equipped with the NUK Temperature Control display. It is shaped like a thermometer and changes colour with the temperature of the contents of the bottle. The innovative function helps parents to reach the optimal temperature when feeding their baby.
If the food is too hot, the blue display turns white. At best, the food for feeding should be at body temperature (37 ° C) which corresponds to the medium shade of blue on the display.
Important: NUK Temperature Control is intended to be an additional control. Therefore, the temperature should still be checked manually before the actual feeding. Put a few drops on the inside of the wrist to check whether it’s good for feeding.
