How does a belly band work? Wrap belly band around waist covering penis. Bands are made with the highest loft padding available on the market. However, to prevent washing and drying band each time he wets, add half of a maxi pad to inside of band. When he is wet, toss out pad and add another.
How do I measure my pet? Wrap measuring tape around his waist with tape running over the end of his penis. Tape should lay flat all the way around his body against his fur. For an accurate measurement, use a cloth measuring tape. If you don't have a cloth measuring tape, use a ribbon and hold up to a metal tape or yardstick. Please consider overlapping velcro when choosing size. If you have any questions, please ask.

Why are bands made without a metal D ring? We use heavy duty velcro which is safer than using a metal D ring. A metal D ring might catch your dogs nail if they try to scratch.
Do you add plastic liners or inserts to bands? No. Adding plastic to bands will not help with absorbency. Plastic will hold the urine against the skin which may cause rash, infection or hot spots.
Do you add elastic to bands? No. Elastic can pinch, pull or bind the fur and tender skin. If band fits properly, there is no need for elastic.
What about a pocket or pouch to hold pad? We want your pet clean and comfortable. A pocket or pouch will get wet each and every time your pet wets. Do you want to wash and dry band every time he wets?
Are bands machine washable? Yes. Close velcro and wash in cold water. Line or tumble dry on low.
Will padding shift or bunch up? No. We double stitch our bands which prevents shifting and bunching during wash.
Will the Velcro™ stay closed? We spend the extra for heavy duty Velcro™ which is much stronger than Velcro™ sold at local fabric stores. If bands fit properly, Velcro™ will stay closed.
Any other fabrics available? Yes, we have many fabrics available. In addition, we offer specialty fabrics and flannel.
