When the temperature of resistive moisture-sensitive elements exceeds 95% RH, the thickness of the moisture-sensitive film will change due to wetting and dissolution, and if dew and dampness are repeatedly formed, the characteristics will deteriorate and cannot be recovered. Capacitive sensors are also difficult to detect in high humidity above 80% RH and in dewy or damp conditions above 100% RH.
