You can pick up the item up to 5 pounds, and don't worry about the grabber would break, it has a very comfortable handle and a rubber chuck, you can even pick up small objects in red wine glasses and crevices.
The shaft is made of rust-proof lightweight aluminum. And the internal wire is made of steel cables for durability and ease of use.
