Flic Twist
The Flic Twist offers simple and intuitive control over your lights, home audio devices, and small appliances. Each button can be triggered in 4 different ways: Push, Double Push, Rotate, Push & Rotate, to turn On/Off devices or a single smart scene, Dim/Brighten lights or Raise/Lower volume or curtains and blinds, or switch between automation scenes. Each trigger can be customized to activate different individual devices or groups of devices. The Twist's Selector features allows you to program and select up to 12 custom triggers to activate by rotating the Twist to a specific position represented by a lit LED. Each position is referred to as clock positions in the app, 1 to 12 o'clock. For example, set the Twist to 1 o'clock to raise all blinds, 4 o'clock to trigger Alexa to play music, and 7 o' clock to dim the lights in the living room.
Flic Twists take smart lighting control to the next level with Smart Dimming and Advanced Dimming functions. Flic Twists are capable of dimming lights individually, collectively, or in sequence. Dimmable and color changing lights can be included into the same lighting routine with synchronized dimming and brightening or in sequential order for unique lighting settings. For example, all dimmable lights in a room can be controlled at once, but the central ceiling lamp will dim/brighten faster than the other smaller lights.
Flic Twist's innovative Scene Blender mode allows you to smoothly transition between up to 4 different lighting or audio scenes. This feature is best used in rooms full of Bluetooth connected dimmable lights or audio devices. Switching between two different lighting scenes causes dimmable bulbs to smoothly slide from one lighting scene to the next with minimal lag or flickering. Switching between two audio presets allows you to move your active audio channel from one room to another, or from one room to the entire audio system, or change audio settings.
Essentially any device with Bluetooth compatibility can be controlled by a Flic Twist. A constant Bluetooth connection with a dedicated hub, such as your smartphone, tablet, or a Flic Hub, is required in order for Flic devices to retain their programmed triggers. The Flic Hub Mini is perfect for building a smart system within a single household. The Flic Hub Mini maintains Bluetooth connections between Flic products and their controlled devices when a Bluetooth connected smart device (such as your smartphone) is not within operating range. This gives you and your family or roommates the freedom to continue using your Flic devices and maintain your programmed settings. Up to 63 Flic devices can be connected to a Flic Hub Mini or Flic Hub LR (sold separately).
Installation Details
Flic Twists are powered by a single AAA battery with an average lifespan of up to 2 years. Every button comes with a reusable adhesive back, so you can place them wherever you wish and reposition them at your discretion. To set up a Flic Twist, you will need an iOS or Android device with Bluetooth 4.0, the Flic app for iOS or Android, and an active internet connection.
The Flic Hub Mini is powered by a USB-C cable plugged into either a power adapter or power providing USB connection. The Flic Hub Mini connects to your Internet network via 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and must be paired with your Flic account and desired Flic buttons.
Flic App
Add, remove, and program all of your Flic devices from the Flic mobile app for iOS and Android.
