However, there are very little supply chains for the cassette player components, and the development of the CP13 was extremely difficult at the early stage and frustrated with discontinued development. - EXTRA LARGE SOLID COPPER FLYWHEELS FOR ULTRA-LOW LEVEL Wow FLATTER: The CP13 adopts an ultra-large solid copper flywheel with a diameter of 30.4mm and thickness of 4mm. The flywheel is made of high quality copper material and is larger in diameter than the ones typical cassette players. This allows the tape reel to glide smoothly during playback and lower the wow flutter to an extremely low level that shows spinning, resulting in a more stable and high sound quality
- High voltage driven motor for stable tape: CP13 adopts high voltage motor powered by 4.2V power supply. This is a higher voltage than 1.8V or 3V used by typical cassette players. The power supply is linked with the motor speed stabilizing circuit, which increases the resistance of the motor as needed to stabilize the working speed
- Optimal magnetic head construction provides increased protection from external interference and abrasion resistance. Balanced Circuit Design for High S/N Ratio and Low Distortion: By making uncompromised parts, we select only the heads with excellent quality. Furthermore, we strictly control the CP13 production method, which means that the left and right channel difference of the magnetic head that reads the tape is much less and minimized than the general cassette player. Furthermore, the magnetic head adopts a thicker cover to protect against external interference, increase abrasion resistance, and extend its life. The head structure adopts a balanced circuit design, which makes the signal more stable and high S/N ratio, low distortion
- Full Analog Circuit for Pure Analog Sound Quality: CP13 audio circuitry consists of a fully analog circuit, from the magnetic tape head to the signal amplifier. This gives the classic analog sound quality
- Equipped with an optic amplifier JRC5532 to reproduce comfortable analog sound: The CP13 uses JRC5532, known as the King of Opamp. This opamp is equipped with a full analog audio circuit, so you will be impressed with the friendly and pleasant sound
