All of the sashes' edges are finished and serged/overlocked with color-matched thread. This process, also known as merrowing, results in a tightly sewn, very narrow (1/16 inch wide) stitching around the borders. This keeps the sashes from fraying and stretching unnaturally, and makes the bows look magnificent. Each sash is cut entirely from one single piece of fabric, so you won't see any seams, and is stain resistant and washable; the color-fast dyes will not bleed, run or transfer.
