ECOthical Mask の主な原料となっている植物由来の素材は、微生物によって分解ができる【生分解性プラスチック】と再生可能な生物由来の有機資源【バイオマスプラスチック】の両方の性質を合わせ持つ、PLA 樹脂(ポリ乳酸)です。
通常のプラスチックと同程度の強度を持ち、使用後は適切な環境下で微生物により水と二酸化炭素に分解されます。
