- Chalkboards are perfect for DIY framing projects, or hanging and propping in a variety of settings. Decorate and use at weddings and events, in your home, or in bars, restaurants, and businesses.
- Each set includes 1 blackboard that will fit into any standard frame. The board features a dark chalkboard-like surface with textured antique look. The non-porous coating prevents staining and damage from prolonged use.
- Kit comes with a white wet-wipe marker that features a reversible tip. Use the 6mm chisel end for varying line widths, or the bullet 2mm end for thin consistent lines. Marker removes with water, but won't smudge. Use your own liquid chalk markers for more color options; the chalkboard has been tested and approved for high quality chalk markers.
- Real chalk can also be used on the boards. Priming the chalkboard is recommended. Do not use dustless or dust-free chalk; this can cause damage or scratching to the surface. Dry erase, permanent markers, and other alcohol-based markers are not recommended for the chalkboard.
- Each board measures 16 by 20 by 1/4 inches. Blackboard surface is mounted to a quality hardboard backing made from recycled material. Do not submerge or use in damp or outdoor settings. Product is manufactured, packaged, and shipped in the USA.

This kit comes with a wet-wipe liquid chalk marker. The premium marker features a chisel 6mm tip, perfect for making thick and thin chalk-like lines about 1/4-inches wide. The marker’s wet-wipe ink means it will remove easily with water. When you are ready to change your message or artwork, just use a damp cloth or sponge. Supervise children when using this product.

Solid recycled Cohas Eco Chalkboards made from hardboard with our Cohas ChalkFlex bonded to the surface. The solid plastic non-porous polymer has a texture resembling antique chalkboards. Perfect for use in homes, restaurants, bars, pubs and businesses. Materials used in the casting of the plastic ChalkFlex made in the United States. Caring for the Cohas Eco Chalkboard
The Cohas Eco Chalkboard surface is easy to clean and reuse. When using wet-wipe liquid chalk markers, simply wipe with a damp cloth. For waterproof markers, use Windex or an ammonia based cleaner. When using regular chalk "dustless" and "dust-free" chalk not recommended as the binders may scratch the board.
Just over 1/4 inch thick, sturdy in any size frame or with freestanding use of the Cohas Eco Chalkboard.
Do not use abrasive cleaners or chemicals that can scratch the material’s surface. Magic Eraser and other heavy cleaning products will ruin the surface of the Cohas Eco Chalkboard.
Do not use heavy pressure when writing on the material.
Design Tip! If using chalk markers use the side of some soft white sidewalk chalk to distress your artwork. Create your display with some natural primitive defects to it. A recent study showed, "Chalk Art motivates consumers to visit a business 46% more than print and 10% more than photos."

Did you know most chalkboard paint has volatile organic compounds? Imported chalkboard vinyl is made with lead and a plasticizer called phthalate ester to make it flexible.
