Maintenance of mother-of-pearl:
1. To maintain the luster and color of the surface of mother-of-pearl, you should avoid being exposed to chemical reagents and erosion during daily wear, such as perfume, sweat, cosmetics, etc. Do not wear mother-of-pearl jewelry for bathing and swimming.
2. Since the mother-of-pearl has a Mohs hardness of only 3 to 4, do not place mother-of-pearl jewelry with other jewelry to avoid scratching the mother-of-pearl. It is recommended to gently wipe the surface with a soft cloth.
3. As the composition of mother-of-pearl contains a certain amount of moisture, to avoid prolonged exposure or placing it in a drier place to make it lose water and crack, the mother-of-pearl should be placed in a cool place.
