Our engineers spent 24 months designing a replacement cable that address the issues found in OEM cables. Cheap Chinese original cables had PVC sheathing that becomes brittle and falls off exposing the internal wires and causes shorts / open broken wires leading to controller and plow damage. Many cables used copper clad aluminum (CCA) which is far inferior to pure copper conductors used in our replacements. Original cables used very thin conductive materials that could be over capacity when using on older plow equipment. Finally, the grommet used was made of such a rigid material, it provided minimal protection against failure due to stresses at the controller.
We took all of this into consideration and started from the ground up! Our cable material is a proprietary blend of POLYURETHANE with MIL-SPEC equivalent ratings and remains flexible all the way down to -60 degrees C!!! Our internal wire is AWG 22g PURE copper conductor for the maximum current carrying capacity. The grommet used features a lower durometer rating making it more flexible and able to protect the cable. All connectors used are TOP quality OE with USA made parts where available.
This will be the LAST CABLE you will have to buy and simply the BEST cable in production for your controller!!! Beware of crap refurbished cables with no warranty and OEM cables that WILL FAIL! We offer a 5 year warranty on this cable!
