- ✅ This adapter is a perfect tool to take great macro shots for little money. The adapter can be used to attach compatible lenses upside down to a Nikon F camera. This so-called retro position offers a larger image scale than the normal position and you can display your motif significantly enlarged. The best results are achieved with wide-angle lenses, because the smaller the focal length, the larger the image scale.
- The sharpness must be adjusted by hand on the lens. The same applies to the aperture if possible. Adapted lenses can be used in M and automatic timing modes. In M mode, you can adjust the exposure time yourself. This is usually done via a dial on the camera.
- In automatic time mode, the camera calculates the appropriate exposure time. All you have to do is press the trigger. However, whether the exposure metering is supported by automatic timing depends on the camera model used*.

With this high-quality metal retro adapter (macro reverse ring) you can mount any lens with 49 mm filter thread to your Nikon camera. You can save yourself the purchase of an expensive macro lens because a lens mounted in a retro position allows for fantastic macro shots. The use of wide-angle and zoom lenses is particularly recommended. Application:
1) Screw the retro adapter into the bayonet of your Nikon camera.
2) Turn a lens with 49 mm thread reverse onto the retro adapter.
3) You can start macro shots. Please note that Sony Alpha cameras must be changed to a special mode.
Due to its purely mechanical design, a macro reversing ring does not allow electronic exchange between lens and camera, which is why the aperture must be manually adjusted and the focusing must also be done by hand. Most modern cameras can calculate the exposure time via automatic timing. However, with a few models, you need to manually set the exposure time. In some rare cases, it may also be necessary to disable the trigger lock.
