Fill the sink about halfway with cool water.
Toss in a little bit of mild detergent and give the water a gentle stir until you see some suds.
Dunk the swimsuit in and carefully scrub all the surfaces with your hands.
Empty the sink.
Rinse the suit with cool water.
Hang it up or lay it flat on a towel in the shade to dry. Seriously, don't even think about putting your swimsuit in the dryer!
Tips to Make Your Swimsuit Last Longer
Wash your swimsuit separately in cold water before you wear it for the first time.
As soon as your swimsuit's been in chlorine or saltwater, rinse it in cold water.
Don't wrap your swimsuit in your towel. The towel's full of chemicals that'll keep wrecking your swimsuit fabric.
Never leave your swimsuit out in the sun to dry. Too much sun can really damage the fabric and fade the color.
If you use your swimsuit every day, get a few of them. Letting your suit dry completely and get back in shape will make it last way longer.
No bleach on your swimsuits, ever.
And definitely don't iron your swimsuits.
