1.After adjustment, the harness should fit tight enough that your dog will not be able to pull their legs through, but loose enough that you can fit 1-2 fingers between the harness and your dog.
2.Try to slide it around. It should NOT slide back and forth across your dog's body or chest. At the same time it does not constrict your dog's movement or rub against his/her skin.
3.It's better to keep the chest slider closer to the chest buckle, so the slider won't make your dog's armpits uncomfortable in movement.
4.It's better to check the fit every time you secure the harness on your pet. Dogs may 'tense up' during fitting, so check the fit again after the dog has walked in the harness for a while.
5.Also remember to make adjustment when your pet grows or gains/loses weight.
6.Pls be noted the quick-snap buckles are lockable, you can slide the small plastic switch to lock/unlock the buckle when in need.
7.Dog tends to chew the harness, be care do not leave harness along with your dog unattended. Or keep the harness out of your dog reach while not use.
