OVERVIEW

The Falken Sincera ST80 A/S is a touring and performance, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. Falken offers an 80,000 mile treadwear warranty with T rated sizes, while a 75,000 mile treadwear warranty with H and V speed rated sizes of this model.

The tire improves the all weather traction. The Dynamic Range Technology, with its all season, silica compound, and the detailed tread design enhance the dry, wet and winter weather traction. The wavy siping and notch placement along the tread area increases the number of biting edges gripping the road surface at all times. The durable compound manages to maintain the rubber flexibility in versatile temperatures. The tread's four circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning in wet and winter conditions. This combination promotes a secure year round performance.

The tread design with the center ribs keeps the surface contact at all times. The better road contact allows the tire to enhance the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. In other words, the tire is quicker and more precise in its response to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire. The shoulder block pattern, with the siping and notch placement, upgrades the cornering and maneuvering ability by utilizing additional biting edges at all times. The siping placement across the tread area shortens the braking distance, by generating friction at the moment of braking.

The maintained surface contact of the symmetric ribbed tread design works together with the durable compound to boost the usability. The tread design allows the tire to evenly distribute the driving pressure across the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking avoids irregular wear formations. The stronger compound elements allow the tire to greatly reduce the treadwear rate by preventing heat build-up and by utilizing wear-resistant rubber materials. This greatly lengthens the service life.

The Sincera ST80 A/S uses the Tension Control Technology to ensure high driving comfort levels. This technology features a proprietary casing mold shape that makes the sidewall more flexible, ensuring the tire's constant close surface contact. In this manner, the tire absorbs the shock of driving, enabling the tire to minimize the road vibrations felt by the passengers. As road disturbances do not reach the vehicle's cabin, they guarantee a comfortable driving experience.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
