How to Apply Snake Skin

How to Remove Snake Skin
To remove the tattoo film, grab one corner and gently stretch it to make it longer. Keep pulling, and the film will slowly peel off your skin. Easy does it!
Here are some top tips to avoid any pain when removing the film:
- Make sure the film is completely dry before removing it. Don't get it wet!
- Take off the film gently and avoid jerky movements to help it come off the skin much more easily
- Hold one corner of the film and pull it away from the tattoo in the opposite direction, as if stretching it.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can applying Snake Skin effect the quality of colour in my tattoo?
Snake Skin film doesn't pull ink out of your tattooed skin. The film and glue it uses doesn't do that. Instead, Snake Skin just holds onto extra fluids your body releases, like ink, and helps your wounds heal better because of the enzymes in those fluids.
Can I sunbathe while wearing Snake Skin?
It's best to avoid your new tattoo from being exposed to the sun until it's healed. To keep your tattoo looking vibrant even after they've healed, it's crucial to use sunblock when you're out in the sun. Just so you know, Snake Skin Protective Film doesn't have any sun protection built into it.
Can I shower or go swimming while wearing Snake Skin?
You can totally shower like usual! Snake Skin film is waterproof, so it stays on your skin even when you're in water. However, we do recommend skipping the bath and not soaking too long. This helps keep the adhesive strong and the film in place. Although it is waterproof, it's best to skip saunas, pools, or swimming in salty sea water for 2 or 3 weeks. These places can have bacteria and chlorine or salt that could affect the color of your new tattoo.
Should I be concerned that there is blood and fluids accumulating underneath the film?
No need to stress, Snake Skin keeps those body fluids in check and helps reduce scabbing. Sometimes, the fluids might even carry a bit of ink colour, which is totally normal and doesn't mean your tattoo is fading. If you notice a lot of fluids building up under the film, just remove it, wash the area with water, let it dry, and then apply a fresh film to your tattoo.
Can I exercise while my Snake Skin is applied?
It's a good idea to use Snake Skin while working out because it acts as a barrier against germs, especially in places like gyms. Normally, tattoos take about a week or two to heal. To help them heal well, it's best to adjust your workout routine during this time. You might want to skip exercises that involve touching your tattoo to avoid rubbing or scratching it.
How long should I have Snake Skin applied?
You can keep the first piece of Snake Skin on your skin for about 12 to 24 hours initially, but the exact time varies depending on how much liquid your wound releases, which differs for everyone. If there's a lot of bleeding or oozing, you might need to replace the film earlier.
For most people, 24 hours is fine. When you take off the film, gently wash the area with soap and water, and let your tattoo dry completely. Then, you can put on a second piece of Snake Skin. This one can stay on for 48 hours to 5 days, but if it gets dirty, too loose, or soaked with fluids, swap it out for a fresh film. You should use Snake Skin for a total of three to seven days.
Some of the glue on my tattoo remains after I removed the Snake Skin. What should I do?
No problem at all! Just wash your tattoo gently using your fingertips (avoid using a washcloth) with warm water and unscented soap. Easy peasy!

You may return most items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

To complete your return, we require a tracking number, which shows the items which you already returned to us.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
- Book with obvious signs of use
- CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Items returned to us as a result of our error will receive a full refund,some returns may be subject to a restocking fee of 7% of the total item price, please contact a customer care team member to see if your return is subject. Returns that arrived on time and were as described are subject to a restocking fee.
Items returned to us that were not the result of our error, including items returned to us due to an invalid or incomplete address, will be refunded the original item price less our standard restocking fees.
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

Shipping Cost
We'll pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.). In other cases, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

- Refunds for orders purchased with IBSPOT Gift Cards and/or IBSPOT Notes will be issued as a IBSPOT Gift Card and mailed to the original billing address. Gift cards cannot be redeemed for cash unless required by law.
Refund Processing
• Returns to a IBSPOT store will be refunded to the original form of payment or gift card. • Mail-in returns with our prepaid return label will be refunded back to the original form of payment within 3-5 business days after we receive your return.
