Does organic plastic make sense?
The advantage of bio-plastic can be lost quickly, we know. That's why we do everything with "bioplastic" not just an empty phrase.
Ultimately, it does not matter which material a brush is made when not in use. Because this leads to unnecessary replacement purchases. That's why we designed our hair bust as comfortable and robust as possible. The result is a brush that you will use for many years to come.
What you can expect from our bioplastic:
No cultivation - only straw residues
In order to counteract the nonsense of the development of existing and new growing surfaces for so-called "green materials", we use only straw as an additive which would have been burned by the farmer. In this way, we avoid wasting agricultural surfaces for raw material production and also prevent the release of CO2, which would enter the air through combustion.
Less petroleum - economical with resources
We replace almost a third of an already unproblematic plastic (PP) with bioplastics from straw falls. The lightweight and ergonomic design of the brush allows us to save additional plastic. Due to the saved weight, less energy is also consumed during transport. We have deliberately avoided additional rubber coating of the handle and placed more attention to ergonomics.

Bristle technology - noticeably more comfort
If the bristles are too long and hard, it becomes difficult and uncomfortable to paint through the hair. Hair breakage and split ends increase. However, if the bristles are too short or soft, you only grip on the surface of the hair and have to paint much more often, which in turn leads to more strain on the hair.
After more than 2 years of development, we have found the perfect solution. The bristles of the Ninabella detangling brush are characterised by the correct blend of material, length, arrangement and texture.
