Levomed is made by Vivomed who have been involved in Kinesiotaping since 2006.
Initially working with German physio Siggi Breitenbach and Polish Professor Zibi Sliwinski.
Vivomed briefly became a distributor of Kinesio tape in the UK and Ireland.
Not long after a new Kinesio tape was born and the original, manufactured by Nitto Denko in Japan, became K-Active and continues to be distributed by Siggi from Germany.
At that time it was clear to us that we should develop a tape which was stickier than the original and with an improved level of elasticity to enable greater tissue lift achieved by the taping applications.
Research took over a year, but finally when we settled on the optimal level of Japanese acrylic adhesive per cm2 to achieve good adhesion without skin reactions, and with improved stretch, Levotape was born.

Application:
Always apply to dry skin.
If possible, shave the area before application.
Remove the tape by pressing down on the skin while lifting the tape rather than pulling the tape away from the skin.
Warnings:
Levotape uses low irritant acrylic adhesive, however if skin reaction occurs, carefully remove the tape and wash the area with soap water.
Do not use solvent adhesive removers.
If you have sensitive skin or are prone to allergies, a small piece of the tape should be applied to the skin as a patch test.
If this causes irritation, the tape should not be used.
