Expanding the lineup of the legendary Tatula family, the Daiwa Tatula 80 Casting Reel excels with smaller and lighter weight lures that can be difficult to cast on traditional baitcasting equipment. Built with a compact body that houses a lightweight spool design and Daiwa's patented T-Wing System, the Daiwa Tatula 80 Casting Reel is super comfortable in hand and allows the spool to spin quicker with less force, resulting in greater casting distance and less backlash. Daiwa's signature HYPER DRIVE DESIGN also incorporates four elements that create a rigid housing, as well as, a supported Digigear and Tough Clutch system, which reduces the tolerances between moving parts to produce unrivaled smoothness.
On the outside, the Daiwa Tatula 80 Casting Reel features a 20-position magnetic braking system on the palm side plate that makes it extremely easy to make quick on-the-fly adjustments for different sized lures or wind conditions. A 90mm swept handle also provides additional cranking power so anglers can leverage fish out of heavy cover with ease. Backed by Daiwa's Ultimate Tournament Drag, the Daiwa Tatula 80 Casting Reel combines a lightweight design, robust power, and increased performance for small lures in one package.
