If your axle is older, you may need to sand it first to remove the rust. Next, you’ll have to align the push nuts into the shaft’s end and then push or lightly tap them in with a mallet or hammer. You can use oil-based lubricants to make the pushnuts slide in easier. This type of wheel lock does not have threads instead, it has an inward-facing flange design that pushes the stud inwards, ensuring a secure hold with no room for movement.
